Friends of Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge welcome you to explore nature along the Wallkill River. Come for a walk along a trail, bird watch, canoe the river, fish, attend an event, volunteer, enjoy the varied wildlife and scenery. The Friends group consists of volunteers and members who share an interest in the wildlife, the land, and the river. All are welcome to join.

The Annual Friends Photo Contest will accept submissions starting in March of digital photos taken in the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge.  Contact us for contest rules.
